Prince Harry Gets Candid About Missing Mother Princess Diana After Becoming A Parent Himself
While in the Netherlands, during his first formal engagement and trip overseas following the birth of his son Archie, Prince Harry got candid about missing his late mom, Princess Diana. As fans of the Royal Family are well aware, Harry and his wife, Duchess Meghan Markle welcomed their firstborn on Monday and two days after, they introduced the bundle of joy to the world at a small press photocall at Windsor Castle.
Then, Harry flew to Hague the following morning in order to be there at a presentation for the 2020 Invictus Games.
Dennis van der Stroon, an ex-soldier and competitor at the sports event met with the royal and talked about family, time during which he apparently opened up about losing a mother.
‘He said that missing a mother is like missing some sort of security, how you really need that as a son and how it falls away when you lose your mother,’ the man said the Duke told him.
He went on to also share that Harry ‘talked about how having a child was his new focus and goal. He said that he was amazed by the miracles in the world, and how his baby has made a lot of people happy. He also told me he is really happy his son is so far very quiet.’
Furthermore, Harry’s pal JJ Chalmers who is also a former Royal Marine and a medalist of the Invictus Games, revealed what Harry said about fatherhood.
Apparently, the words he used were ‘amazing’ as well as ‘hard work.’
