I was KO'd by Muhammad Ali but unknown heavyweight hit me so hard I saw six of the same woman
George Foreman has revealed the fighter who hit him the hardest and it is not who you may expect.
The former two-time heavyweight world champion has taken on some of boxing's biggest hitters of all time, including Joe Frazier, Evander Holyfield and Shannon 'The Cannon' Briggs.
And that is without even mentioning the only man to knock Foreman out in his 81 fight professional career, Muhammad Ali.
But, none of these legendary fighters are on Foreman's mind when asked who hit him the hardest in the ring.
Instead, he chose an unknown fighter he faced in the Golden Gloves, a national amateur tournament in the USA, available to all non-professional fighters over 16 years old.
"I've been punched hard so many times," Foreman told talkSPORT, while promoting his film 'Big George Foreman'.
"But, I was in a Golden Gloves match with a guy by the name of Bob Winters.
"He hit me so hard and knocked me down, I didn't know boxers had that to happen to them.

"I saw about six women with the same coat on and after the referee counted they started disappearing and then I realised it was only one woman.
"That was being hit hard, I'll never forget that, not seeing doubles and triples, but more."
With that being said, it is likely that Foreman had a similar effect on some of the fighters he came up against, as he is known as one of the hardest hitting heavyweights of all time.
'Big George' retired with a knockout ratio of more than 83 per cent. His blunt-force blows saw him knock the great, undefeated Frazier down six times in two rounds with those monster hooks and uppercuts to win the heavyweight world title in 1973.
A year later, Foreman lost that title to Ali and retired from boxing in 1977.
This was not the end, however, as Foreman made a comeback ten years later and went on to become the oldest heavyweight world champion of all time at 45 when he shocked the world by KOing Michael Moorer.
Big George Foreman is out in cinemas on April 28.
